Angelyn A. Dekle is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southern University. She began her nursing career at Memorial on the oncology unit and then moved to Labor and Delivery where she served as charge nurse and circulating nurse. After pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing, she has practiced as a nurse practitioner at Memorial Health High Risk OB care for over 21 years. She created the Multiple Gestation Service at Memorial Health in 1999. Since then, she has provided antepartum care for singleton and multiple pregnancies.
Angelyn and her husband Richard have three children. She is a native of Claxton, Georgia. She has lived in Savannah since 1994. She is an active member of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church.

The staff at this office is amazing and very compassionate. Dr. Odom is a great doctor and my delivery ran smooth with him. My son unexpectedly passed away at 7 weeks old and I will NEVER forget the compassion that Gretchen showed me. She held my hand, listened, and cried with me when I went in after losing my son. The pregnancy after my loss had complications and they were on it with referring me to a perineonatologist. Megan at the front desk always has a smile for me and encouraging words. Gretchen and Dr. Odom showed so much compassion. I just want to say thank you so much for that!

I’ve only seen Dr. Newton twice but in those times I was beyond impressed. He took the time to make sure I understood everything that was going on. He consistently asked me what I wanted when and was comfortable with when it came to my care options. I’ve never had a doctor care so much about what I wanted.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Dr. Odom delivered my baby. He is so knowledgeable, professional, and kind. He isn’t pushy and is very thorough. They caught some underlying medical issues I knew nothing about. His medical assistant Megan is amazing as well. She was always helpful with scheduling and answering all questions. They really advocate for you here and care deeply about their patients.

Dr. McIntosh is a very competent and knowledgeable doctor, but more importantly she is also very caring and empathetic. She does not rush through your visit. Dr. McIntosh asks questions and then listens to what you have to say. The whole office staff is courteous and professional. I’m grateful to be a patient at this practice.

I can't say enough about my visit at Savannah OB/GYN. I've been going here for 10 years. They have always been kind, compassionate and efficient. They really do have a family feeling. Which, in this day and age, is rare. Thank you for being so personal yet professional. Thank you for caring about your patients. I want to add, this is from the front door, to the time you leave. I rarely see my Dr, and that's OK due to the fact that the team surrounding the Dr's here, are really genuinely kind humans! ❤️

My husband & I are somewhat new to the Savannah area & I'm trying to get established at various health facilities nearby. I chose this OBGYN office based on it's positive reviews & it did not disappoint! Everyone on staff from Trish at the front desk, all the way to the PA, Courtney, who administered my yearly exam today were possibly THE kindest people I've ever encountered at a doctor's office. I am so glad I chose this office. They made what can often be a difficult experience into something as pleasant as possible. Their kind words & genuine concern is very much appreciated. If you're looking for a new OB, I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

This is the BEST patient experience I have ever had. Savannah OBGYN is the kindest most compassionate office and I am so grateful for their care during my pregnancy. Meagan truly makes everyone that steps into the office feel welcome and cared for. She has always gone out of her way to show me kindness and compassion and it means so much. Dr. Odom is fantastic and every experience I have had with the FNPs have been amazing too. I am just beyond grateful for this care team.

I cannot say enough good things about this office! Dr. Smith is amazing and very knowledgeable! Jamie McKayla, Michelle ,and Angela !!! Every single one makes you feel very comfortable! My C-section went great even having a large 11.4 pound baby. I am so thankful for Dr. Smith and all the girls in this office. They truly make you feel so secure and cared for!

Everyone at Savannah OBGYN is amazing. From the front desk to the lab and checkout I was treated with kindness and respect. Gretchen was so personable and I enjoyed my visit with her. I had to call after hours and immediately received a call back. Highly recommend this office.

Oh my when I go see Dr. McIntosh it like talking to a family member and/or close friend! She’s very caring and honest! She listens to all my concerns and addresses them! She have a lot of patience! Love her dearly! About 17 years strong that I been seeing her! Wouldn’t change anything about her! 😉

Everyone who works here is fabulous and personable. I was so impressed that when called to come back to the exam room, my greeter/nurse actually introduced herself to me, as did each one of them when calling in turn other other patients. This bit of politesse is lacking at every one of the other doctors’ offices I’ve been to this year. The front desk and check out staff were delightful and full of smiles, very helpful with my attempts to do the computerized check in. And of course, my nurse practitioner, Melanie, is the best. No question too trivial to be patiently answered. Plus she’s got a sense of humor. I highly recommend this OB/GYN clinic

I have used this office for years. I have always had a good experience. The office staff is friendly. Audra and Cris have always made me feel welcome. The nurses are caring and Mrs. Rose always remembers me and asked about my kiddos. I used to see Leah but now see Melanie since Leah retired. Melanie has great bedside manner and always answers my questions without being annoyed or rushing, even when I have alot. Great place!
