Melanie Howard is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing at Armstrong Atlantic State University. She received her post master’s FNP at South University and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in public health at Emory University. She began her nursing career at St. Joseph’s/ Candler Hospital in pediatrics and women’s health. She has been an advanced nurse practitioner for over 18 years. She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist and Family Nurse Practitioner and licensed through the Board of Nursing in Georgia.
Melanie and her husband Roy have three children, 2 of whom are serving in the United States Army while another works in healthcare. She is a native of Savannah, GA.
